"Excited to have data, and eager to explore data" could be a good introduction to myself. I am a passionate lover of data, a hunter for information in data, a story-teller explaining information from data, and an active user of data. Driven by enthusiasm for machine learing and data analysis, I started my PhD program in the UC San Diego. During the years towards my PhD degree, I improved skills on machine learing and data analysis, and worked in many companies on data-related projects.
Given both motivation and ability, I have many inspiring findings out of class, which I would like to share. These findings include insight in relationship among people, how people's mind changes over time, how classics are related, analysis of Chinese language, etc.
According to Confucianism, people should explore the world for knowledge (格物致知), then share the knowledge they find with other people (新民), in order to improve the world towards perfectness (止于至善). This is exactly what I want from the English version of this site: improving my skills through more communication with people (this site will be a channel), sharing my findings with everyone, attracting more people with the magic of machine learing and data analysis in order to make the world better.
